This organic Red Rice and Vegetable Soup is quick and easy to prepare, without any added fats or aromas to enhance the genuine and natural flavor of the ingredients. It is just as if made at home.
Red rice is characterized by its ruby color and long, unworked whole grains, its antioxidant properties and its richness in both fiber and mineral salts. Combined with the taste of carrots, cabbage, broccoli and many other healthy and tasty vegetables it makes a great meal in 14 short minutes on your stovetop. Good for Vegans!
Each package contains 2 portions.
Stove Top: Pour contents into 750 ml (3.17 cups) of cold water in a non-stick saucepan. Bring to a boil. Once boiling, cook for 14 minutes on low heat, stirring occasionally. Add a tablespoon of extra virgin olive oil once cooked, stir, serve and enjoy!
Microwave: Pour contents into 650 ml (2.75 cups) of cold water in a container suitable for microwave cooking. Bring to a boil. Once boiling, cook for 20 minutes at medium power, stopping to stir occasionally; careful not to burn yourself. Add a tablespoon of extra virgin olive oil once cooked, stir and enjoy!
For a richer dish you can add fresh herbs to your soup such as thyme, oregano or tarragon.
